Christopher D. Ahrens is a shareholder of the firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. Ahrens has been in the public finance practice since entering law practice in 1981. During his legal career, he has specialized in the area of tax-exempt bond financing for multi-family housing and clean water and drinking water facilities through the Missouri State Revolving Fund. Mr. Ahrens is a member of the Missouri Bar Association. Mr. Ahrens received his B.A. (cum laude) from Westminster College in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1981 where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ahrens was a Captain in the United States Army.
