James A. McClure is an associate tax attorney of the Firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. McClure was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2017. He received his B.S. in Business Accounting from The University of Kansas in 2013, his J.D. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2016, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Mr. McClure served as the Research Editor for The Urban Lawyer, President for the Legal Technologists Society, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. Mr. McClure received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Procedure II, Criminal Procedure I, Estates and Trusts, Income Taxation of Estates and Trusts, Securities Regulation, and Tax Exempt Organizations. Cara M. McLaughlin is an associate of the Firm in the Kansas City office. Ms. McLaughlin was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2017. She received her B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008 and her J.D.
