She received her B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics, Emphasis in Public Policy & Communication (cum laude) from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri in 2012 and her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2015, where she served as a staff member of the UMKC Law Review and Managing Editor of The Urban Lawyer. She also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Legal Writing Program; was a member of the Student Bar Association and was a Law School Emissary. She was a member of Phi Delta Phi.
